What we collect
- Your email address and password, to sign you in.
- Your date of birth, to apply the age rules.
- Your handle, display name, city and avatar, if you add them.
- Your pets' details, posts, photos, clips, comments, listings and replies.
- For members under 14: a parent's or guardian's email address, used only for consent.

Children and teens
Under 14, an account stays inactive until a parent or guardian consents. The consent link lasts 7 days, and consent can be withdrawn at any time. Accounts of members under 18 start private.

What others see
Pet pages and their posts are public. Your likes, comments and replies appear under your primary pet's name. With no pet yet, they show your handle if your profile is public, or “a TailMe member” if it is private.

Who handles your data
- Supabase stores accounts, data and media.
- Vercel hosts the app.
- An email provider delivers our messages.
- Sign-in accounts are held in a Supabase project shared with another application.

Cookies
- tailme_city remembers the city you chose to browse, or Everywhere, so you are asked once. It lasts one year.
- tailme_signup holds what you typed on the sign-up form, including your birth date and a parent's email, until your email is confirmed. It is removed once you register or sign out, and lasts at most one day.
- The session cookies, named sb- followed by the project's name, keep you signed in. They last until you sign out or your session ends.
TailMe sets no advertising or tracking cookies.

Keeping and deleting data
You can delete your account in settings. That removes your profile, pets, posts, comments, listings, replies and media from TailMe. Your email address and password stay in the shared sign-in system, so signing in again starts a new TailMe profile. An account that was suspended, or whose consent was revoked, stays blocked.
When an account that needed a parent's or guardian's consent is deleted, we keep a hashed copy of their consent link and the account id, so they can still withdraw consent. We keep no name, birth date or parent's email with it.
